Bath Design—Bath Planning

If you must move a wall so your kitchen or bath can be the way you want it please contact us. We are expert and inexpensive.

Unless your bath has been previously remodeled or your home is relatively new it is very difficult to partially remodel a bath.  Doing so usually causes what remains to appear shabbier by being contrasted to the new elements of your remodeled bath. The sensible thing is usually to remove everything in the bath plus maybe an adjoining closet to create a new layout required by your new larger tub and shower and an added different location of your vanities and toilet.  And you need to consider that sometimes it is preferable to extend the space into an adjoining room to get the bath layout you want if the space is available.

As the cost of plumbing is the most substantial cost of remodeling a bath, cost is among the most important things you must consider if you decide to change the plumbing layout.  And when you extend the space the cost is even more. You also need to be aware that if the shower and toilet drain locations are allowed to remain in the same place the cost of remodeling your bath can be reduced.

Whatever choices you make it is usually wise to remove any furrdowns or soffits as removing them often dramatically increases the feeling of space.

Here are the choices to consider:

  • Remodel your Houston master bath in the same space with an improved layout.

  • Remodel your Houston master bath in an extended space with an improved layout.

  • Remodel your Houston master bath and master closet in the same space with an improved layout.

  • Remodel your Houston master bath and master closet in an extended space with an improved layout.

  • Remodel your Houston second bath in the same space with the same layout

  • Remodel your Houston second bath in an extended space with an improved layout

  • Remodel your Houston powder room in the same space with the same layout

  • Remodel your Houston powder room in an extended space with an improved layout
